Lil' Flip has cleared his name of any wrongdoing in connection with an alleged credit card scam. As DrewReports.com previously reported, Flip was arrested in an alleged credit card scam in Houston last month.

The Houston Chronicle reports a Harris County grand jury declined to indict the rapper in the case that involved airline tickets being purchased with a stolen credit card.

Lil' Flip's representatives maintained the rapper's innocence throughout the process and stand by the fact that the $671 airline ticket was purchased through what Flip believed to be a legitimate travel agency.

Prosecutor Joe Vinas announced the case was now closed and no further charges are forthcoming.

“He’s extremely happy,” said Stanley Schneider, Flip’s attorney. “He feels vindicated.”
