WHOA! RUFF RYDER CEO INDICTED ON COCAINE CHARGES!
Ruff Ryders CEO Darrin "Dee" Dean was indicted yesterday (Aug. 29) on drugs and weapons stemming from an arrest earlier this year.

As previously reported by DrewReports.com, Darrin Dean (also known as David Jones Green) and driver, Jerry Gilbert, were arrested on May 31 by the Palisades Interstate parkway police after a traffic stop for a broken tail light. After smelling marijuana upon approaching the car, they conducted a search leading to the discovery of 1½ kilos of cocaine and a loaded .45 caliber handgun hidden in a customized floor compartment.

Both men were charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a handgun and possession of a handgun while conducting narcotics violations. They were released from the Bergen County Jail on bail of $342,500 on June 1.

The indictment by the Bergen County grand jury in Hackensack, New Jersey charges Dean and Gilbert with possession of large amounts of cocaine with intent to distribute it. The indictment also charges Dean and Gilbert with the unlawful possession of an Intratec .45-caliber handgun.

If convicted both men face up to 20 years in prison.
