Judge Martha Sassone announced the trial date as February 11. The charge stems from an incident in Jan. 2002 where Miller is accused of shooting and killing Steve Thomas at Harvey nightclub.
Corer "C-Murder" Miller was originally sentenced to life in prison for the crime in Sept. 2003. An appeal for the rapper was successful and his conviction was overturned in March 2004. It was later in 2004 that Judge Martha Sassone ordered a new trial date for the rapper which was decided on yesterday.
If convicted of the crime, Miller faces a mandatory life sentence
Brown is accused of striking Arlene Raymond in the face with a Blackberry during a neighborhood dispute. The dispute was said to be over the volume of the rapper's car stereo. Brown is currently incarcerated on Rikers Island for violating the terms of her probation.
Raymond says Foxy hit her with the Blackberry which bruised her eye and caused a chipped tooth.
Foxy is charged with assault, attempted assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. She faces up to seven years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Judge John Ingram extended an order protection for Raymond until December 18. Foxy is due back in court December 17.
