The EW Hollywood Insider is reporting that Kelis has been dropped by JIVE Records.
Reports suggest the label was disappointed in the sales of her last album "Kelis Was Here" which has barely sold 150,000 copies according to Nielsen Soundscan.
"Kelis Was Here" was her fourth studio album and was released August 22. The album debuted at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Kelis' biggest album was '03's "Tasty" featuring the hit single "Milkshake." The album has sold 528,000 copies in the US according to Nielsen Soundscan.
