MOST DEF TO PERFORM AT J DILLA TRIBUTE
Mos Def will perform a tribute to J Dilla Jan. 21 at Ann Harbor's Hill Auditorium in Michigan.
According to the Detroit News, Mos will be joined by his Mos Def Big Band, an eight-piece brass ensemble.
"I know it's going to be great," says Dilla's mother, Maureen Yancey on Tuesday. "I will be behind anything that they do."
Tickets for the show go on sale 9 a.m. Friday (Nov. 16) online at ums.org, by phone at (734) 764-2538 or in person at the League Ticket Office at 911 N. University Ave. on the campus of U-M. Prices are $25-$45.
