In an interview, Raekwon opens up about the troubles and miscommunication within the Wu-Tang Clan along with plans for another Wu-Tang album without RZA.
Raekwon speaks on RZA doing things his way and why recording their newest album "8 Diagrams" didn't have the same vibe as sessions for previous album releases. Rae goes on to call RZA a "Hip-Hop hippie" and says that the Wu mastermind's focus on guitars, pianos and non traditional Wu production made the recording sessions uncomfortable.
"I'm not going to sit here and allow myself to drown in the water when I know that boat is about to sink" says Raekwon speaking on the state of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Raekwon is the second Wu-Tang artist to openly speak out about the finances and overall state of the Wu-Tang Clan.
Ghostface Killah told MTV News:
"the hierarchy at Wu-Tang Clan is on some bullsh–. They trying to f— around and make me push my album back and doing all this. But n—as ain’t give us money when we did them Wu-Tang tours… n—as is holding onto a lot of money…It’s a battle right now. The Big Dough Rehab is my album, 8 Diagrams is their album. But it ain’t got nothing to do with the regular members. ‘Cause I love Raekwon, Masta Killa, U-God, Genius, all them. But it’s on right now… N—as better pay my f—ing money. Matter of fact, they can keep the money — just get me out of their life right now.”
The Big Doe Rehab will be release Dec 4.

Ya know, I'm sorta conflicted by this whole thing. Raekwon's one of my fav MCs in the group, Ghost is one of my favs period, and RZA's a musical genius, so I have love for all sides of the argument. Thing is, I think the music will all be ill regardless, if the leaked tracks and the 8 Diagrams mixtape they've got out there (http://www.loud.com/feature/feature_wutangmix ... gotta register, but free download) are any indication. Dec. 11 is gonna be a great day nontheless
