T.I. CLAIMS EVIDENCE CONNECTED AGAINST HIM WAS ILLEGALLY OBTAINED!

T.I. is alleging that evidence collected against him and statements he made in regards to his weapons case were illegally obtained.

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, attorneys for T.I. filed motions Monday (Nov. 19) in U.S. District Court in Atlanta seeking to suppress evidence seized from T.I.'s vehicle he was arrested in on Oct. 13. They are also seeking to suppress statements T.I. made the day of his arrest.

The attorneys allege that T.I.'s vehicle was searched without a warrant, consent or probable cause. They also say that the rapper's detention may not have been proper and that statements made by T.I. may not have been voluntarily and could have violated T.I.'s rights.

There was no immediate decision by the judge and according to a representative via the Associated Press, federal prosecutor Patrick Crosby says that his office will address the charges in court.
