LIL WAYNE FIRST SINGLE WILL BE...
Lil Wayne has decided to go with a different lead single from his album Tha Carter III. It had previously been reported that Weezy had chosen “Showtime” as the first single. Instead, the single will be “Lollipop” featuring Static. A video will be shot in Las Vegas next week. The album will feature Hurricane Chris, Corey Gunz, Tyga, Jibbs, Shanell, Kidd Kidd, Mack Maine, and Lil’ Mama. Jim Jonsin, the Alchemist, and Cool & Dre contributed production. Tha Carter III is due out this spring.
JANET JACKSON BACK WITH MORE NEW MATERIAL
Janet Jackson’s official website has two new songs from Janet’s forthcoming album Discipline (Feb. 26). They are “Rock With U” (not a Michael Jackson sample) and “Luv.” L.A. Reid said that “Luv” is being considered for the second single.
DrewReports.com was even invited to the listening party that L.A. Reid is having in New York next week to preview the album.
