A Japanese promotion agency won over $200,000 in a default judgement against Cleveland Hip-Hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony yesterday (February 29).
World Mix Entertainment filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Federal Court claiming Krayzie, Layzie and Wish Bone missed a series of tour dates in Japan.
According to Los Angeles' NBC Channel 4, the company claims that the group missed shows in Nagoya and Okinawa in December 2006, causing the shows to be canceled and tickets to be refunded to disappointed fans.
World Mix Entertainment's complaint included the group's contract and rider, which stated the group would receive $25,000 dollars per show, $10,000 for a photo shoot, plus full air fair and hotel accomodations.
The promotional company also agreed to provide catering, a box of Philly blunts, one "big sack of marijuana," two cases of Miller Genuine Draft, two bottles of Hennessy, two pepperoni pizzas and other specialized items.
"Me, Shareefa, and Bobby V are very much still on dtp... ill be releasing a video statement in a few days.... thanks for the love and support by the way."
We at DrewReports were skeptical of the news story because it would not make sense for DTP to just get rid of those 3 artists and not clear that whole mediocre roster!
Story developing...
