According to the Omaha World Hearld, dozens of police officers were called to Sokol Underground, a local club in Omaha, NE after hundreds of fans were irate that Lil' Boosie allegedly canceled a show Friday night. Almost 900 people had paid up to $30 a piece to see the rapper when around 11:00 PM they were told the show was canceled. Angry fans ripped a ticket booth out of a wall and the venue sustained other damage. Rep's for Lil' Boosie have yet to comment.
This is their first album since 2004’s Fly or Die. So what took Pharrell, Chad, and Shay so long? Pharrell says he was “just waiting for the right sounds,” comparing making music to going fishing. “You fish for it every day, and either you get it or you don’t,” he said. “And sometimes I have to wait. What I usually do with the N.E.R.D. albums is we wait a lot.”
You can catch N.E.R.D. on Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour and on their own club tour.
