According to the AP, the rapper won't be sentenced until March 27, 2009 but from now until then, he will remain on house arrest and he'll have to perform 1,000 hours out of a 1,500 hours of community service speaking to youth groups across the country.
Tip stood in a grey suit before the judge and plead guilty to all three charges against him, including knowingly accepting machine guns and firearms that weren't registered, knowingly possessing three machine guns and violating the law by being a felon and possessing a firearm.
Each count would have been punishable by 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.
