Rapper JAY-Z is reportedly thinking of pulling out of his headline slot at this year's Glastonbury festival, due to the disappointing reaction to news of his appearance.
A source told the Sun that the rapper, who has married his long-term girlfriend, Beyonce Knowles over the weekend, is angry about suggestions that lower ticket registrations are due to his appearance.
"He hasn't liked all this talk of how Glastonbury is more urban and hip this year because of his appearance," the source told the newspaper.
"He feels it's a bit sad and he's being used to make a point."
The festival's organiser, Michael Eavis, has denied that Jay-Z may pull out, adding that he is "excited" to see his performance.
Tickets for Glastonbury went on sale at 09.00 GMT yesterday morning.
Despite some 100,000 tickets being snapped up within a matter of hours a limited number are still available, reports NME magazine.
In previous years all of the tickets have sold out on the first day they were made available.
Eavis has claimed that the bad weather at the festival in recent years is what has dampened ticket sales, rather than JAY-Z's appearance.
The festival will take place between June 27th and 29th; other major acts making an appearance include KINGS OF LEON and THE VERVE.
At the Greensboro, North Carolina, stop of Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige's Heart of the City Tour on Saturday, Mary J. Blige basically just blabbed to a sold-out crowd of thousands in North Carolina that Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles got married, by congratulating "my man Jay-Z" and "my girl B" and dedicating a song to them. The couple haven't officially acknowledged their nups. Leave it to Auntie to blabbed it out! LOL
R&B star Chris Brown crashed Natasha Bedingfield and Brandy's joint recording session last week in Atlanta. The girls were working on a collaboration when Brown and his massive entourage took over the studio, blasting his songs and horsing around. The singing twosome eventually gave up but will try again - with earplugs! - this week in Los Angeles.
