Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” at No. 2 and Chris Brown’s “Forever” at No. 3.
Another Rihanna song, “Disturbia,” races 15-4 thanks to digital sales of 122,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” and Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” hold at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively, while Wayne’s “Lollipop” featuring Static Major slides 4-7.
Kardinal Offishall’s “Dangerous” featuring Akon rises 9-8, Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” declines 6-9 and Jesse McCartney’s “Leavin’” remains No. 10 to round out the top portion of the Hot 100.
Estelle’s “American Boy” featuring Kanye West is the chart’s top digital gainer after selling 84,000 downloads. The cut jumps 26-16, a new peak for the U.K. vocalist.
Keyshia Cole’s “Heaven Sent” continues its rule over Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for an eighth week. On that tally, Lil Wayne sets a new record by placing 13 titles as a lead or featured artist this week. He surpasses T.I.’s previous mark of 11, set in February.

Above is the artwork from Nas’ “The Nigger Tape” mixtape. Everytime I view this artwork it just shows me that Mr Nigger is nothing more than opportunist then an activist. If his album was not currently in stores I doubt you would hear him protesting on FOX News. By the way, Nas will not be going Gold no time soon so don’t get your hopes up Island/Def Jam.

Akon feels that he has reached his career pinnacle by working with Michael Jackson:
“That was a dream come true,” ‘Kon said Tuesday. “You know how you come into a career and set your goals as to where you wanna start and where you wanna end? I had a wish list of all the collaborations I ever wanted to do. Mike was at the top. I was saying, ‘Well, if ever I get to Mike, then that’ll be the sign I can retire.’ But I got to Mike 10 years earlier than I expected. So I decided not to make retirement goals anymore.
“I think at the end of the day, it was one of those situations that caught me off guard,” he added. “I didn’t realize I was working so hard to actually capture his attention. That really showed me. That’s the day I realized I made it.”

The home belonging to KANYE WEST’s late mother is facing foreclosure.
Dr Donda West died in November (07) from complications following a cosmetic surgery procedure, and the Stronger hitmaker has since been handed control of her estate.
But the rapper has so far failed to pay the $600,000 (GBP300,000) needed to settle the mortgage on Dr. West’s Illinois condominium, it is claimed.
And now court documents from Northern Trust Bank show the property will be sold to recoup the debt unless the money is paid off, according to sources.
West inherited a reported $250,000 (GBP125,000)-worth of assets as part of his mother’s estate.

Too bad that Senator Barack Obama has criticised the latest politically-themed rap song released by supporter Ludacris as being “outrageously offensive”!
Last night, HFPA’s Annual Installation Luncheon took place at the The Rodeo Ballroom in Beverly Hills, CA. Above is a picture of Ludacris.
Ludacris has been everywhere lately.
