Alfamega, a member of T.I.’s Grand Hustle camp, is now speaking out about the fight between the TIP camp and Shawty Lo’s people. “It escalated, dawg,” Alfamega said, continuing by implying Shawty Lo is jealous of T.I. saying “I think [Lo] feels like he ain’t getting his just due. I can understand, but God will give you blessings, and your blessings might not as be as big as the next man. Be thankful for what you got.” Alfamega did seem remorseful about the events saying “I embarrassed, y’all,” he said. “Certain people were subjected to the pepper spray. By them trying to spray me, that lingering fumes got other people. I’m embarrassed by the whole situation.” In an update we posted yesterday, a new video of the incident seemed to point to Alfamega throwing a chair during the brawl. You be the judge,.

Some crisis experts describe this as an unqualified PR disaster for Taco Bell. “It’s making them look desperate, making them look tired, making them look disconnected,” said crisis consultant Robbie Vorhaus. It’s also a tough time to get investors to swallow a big legal bill for a promotion gone awry. “Today, with money as tight as it is, with people struggling so hard to make ends meet, with trillions of dollars being lost in stock value, and you’re going to sue 50 Cent?” Mr. Vorhaus said. Sally Stewart, also a crisis expert, doesn’t think the litigation will materially harm Taco Bell, but wonders why the chain didn’t spend another five minutes vetting the promotion. “If someone goes berserk in your restaurant, that’s something you can’t prevent,” she said. “Something like this is preventable.”

“Lil Wayne has not cancelled the Rochester, New York Blue Cross Arena performance,” Hughes explained to sources. “Failure to provide adequate equipment per a signed agreement, caused the October 26 concert date to be postponed.” The concert promoter had alleged that Wayne walked out on the concert and fans due to being dissatisfied with the show’s sound system. According to Hughes, Wayne made every attempt to accommodate the concert’s organizers, even in light of his just announced, 24-city “I Am Music” tour. “Wayne offered the promoter, Ed Strickland, another date without penalty,” she elaborated. “Due to mandatory tour rehearsal for his upcoming ‘I Am Music’ tour the date had to be postponed again.” In addition to Wayne’s headlining, nationwide arena tour conflicting with the Rochester show, the rapper also declined to attempt to do the show without T.I., who was booked to co-headline on December 6. Despite the problems behind the scenes, Hughes was adamant in detailing that Wayne’s first concern is always sharing his music with his fans, and that the much-delayed Rochester, New York show remains a top priority on his busy schedule. “He never wanted to let down his fans and has already made arrangements to reschedule the performance,” Hughes added. “The Rochester date will take place after his tour.” Wayne’s anticipated “I Am Music” tour kicks off December 14 in Miami.

The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, has reportedly taken interest in reality TV and she’s tapped Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to mold that interest into reality. According to network sources, Franklin and Diddy will partner up for an ‘American Idol’ type talent series next year. Unlike American Idol, Aretha Franklin says the weekly cuts and season winner will be determined by herself and Diddy. “The country will not vote. It will be just me and Diddy voting for who the next star will be.” While an official premiere date is not set in stone, the show is rumored to be hitting television late next year
