After being held in an Arizona jail for over a month, DMX was formally sentenced today. X will serve three months behind bars and 18 months of supervised probation for the drug, theft and animal cruelty charges he was convicted of. DMX was arrested at Scott Storch’s house in Florida after dodging a court appearance.“This guy has been in our custody for several weeks and has had problems with other inmates” local Sheriff Joe Arpaio said in a written statement. “Despite that, he’s going to do his time in Tent City and be treated like every other inmate. He’ll wear pink underwear, a black and white striped uniform, eat the 20 cent meals, won’t be able to smoke or drink coffee, watch movies or much TV and if he violates policy, he may end up on a chain gang.”

Lil Wayne continues to be in Rock music, even when it’s lawsuits. Weezy recently settled a lawsuit with the Rolling Stones over his “Playing With Fire” track. The Stones claimed it was “a clear derivative of the rock band’s song with the original lyrics and music altered in a recognizable way.” Weezy removed the song from “Tha Carter III” plus all digital downloads, ringtones and ringback providers prior to the settlement. Exact details of the settlement aren’t known but a statement says “all parties expressed themselves satisfied with the amicable settlement.” Wayne was also sued over the use of Karma Ann Swanepoel’s “Once” for his hit song “I Feel Like Dying.” With over a million people downloading the song, the lawsuit is currently pending. In related news, Lil Wayne will drop his first Rock album “Rebirth” on April 7th. The first single from the album “Prom Queen” is now available. Two additional songs that are rumored to be from the album have recently leaked including Lil Wayne ft. Kevin Rudolf - “Hot Revolver” and Lil Wayne ft. Young Money - “Troublemaker”

Lil Kim has made it clear she doesn’t like how she was portrayed in the “Notorious” Biggie Smalls biopic. Diddy is now backing her up saying “The only thing I can say about the movie that you may have got that was really great from their relationship was [Biggie Smalls] really respected her as an artist, as an emcee and was into her like that. All the extra stuff, you know, it’s a movie and Kim will have her chance. Her own movie will come out there, so yo, give Kim her chance. Don’t believe what you saw in the movie.” Kim has expressed her anger about the entire situation saying “This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it.” Ms Wallace hit back saying “Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she’s a white woman trapped in a black woman’s body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil’ Kim’s words. She should be ashamed of herself.”

Although we reported yesterday that Young Jeezy hadn’t formally accepted Bill O’Reilly’s invitation to come on his show, Jeezy isn’t done with the news show host. In a new remix of his “My President Is Black” Jeezy correctly calls O’Reilly “ignorant.” Bill O’Reilly isn’t the only one catching Jeezy bombs, Jeezy also takes on comedian Dennis Miller who was on the episode of “The O’Reilly Factor” in question. The Snowman raps “Bill O’Reilly eat a dick, nice try/ you’re really being a racist asshole in a nice tie,” he spit. “And tell Dennis Miller his show suck anyway/ and I’d rather watch Jimmy Kimmel any day.” Young Jeezy ends the track by making sure everyone knows this isn’t about race saying “This ain’t a race song,” he clairifies, “it’s a remix.”
