this is too funny! I was wondering what numbers he was going to do.I’m on twitter(this was apprx a week or so ago)…and he (Bow Wow) was talkin about Soulja Boy being a flop/one hit wonder for selling 100,000 copies of his second lp. I thought it was funny for two reasons 1)aren’t they in similar markets …2) I thought the beef (or whatever that wack shit was) w/Soulja Boy was over.
AnyWho…Shad needed a dose of reality.

  5. jeezo says:

Incredibly FALSE. Bow Wow sales more as he goes anyway. His first album went from 30,000 first to 3million

  6. lele says:

fuk the first week sales with this recession first week sales should be obsolete. give it a month. plus with all the free down loading who is going to spend cash?

  7. G3T R33L says:

Please, the recession don’t have anything to do with his weak sales. He is lame. His career is done. Pack your bags because you are about to get thrown out the rap game. Your rapping days are expired. Deuces. V

And to add to my comment above, Bow wow is WEAK, LAST WEEK!

  2. [...] Maybe Bow Wow should have kept his word when he originally called it quits from the rap game… As of right now this is still rumor but I’m hearing that Lil Bow Wow sold just 18,586 units in the first week of New Jack City II’s release. To put this in perspective for you, that’s like 981,414 less than what Lil Wayne did with Carter III in its first week. That’s a tremendous failure. An album’s first week is usually the strongest for sales so it’s just downhill from here. I’ve seen artists with higher numbers than him get dropped for not having strong sales.
