Soulja Boy is still young yet he has has much success, now the rapper is saying fellow artists like 50 Cent have told him they wished they could have got to his level at the young age he has. From Soulja Boy’s point of view, his young age is his biggest weapon in the music industry. “Even 50 told me himself that he wish he could have did it at my age,” Soulja Boy said in a video. “Like, look at his age and look at my age. That’s the advantage that I got over everybody because I’m so young. And that’s what makes n*ggas wanna try me. You feel me? Because I’m a young n*gga but sh*t ain’t going down like that.”In related news, Soulja Boy’s success has been talked about by many artists including fellow new comer, Drake. “Soulja Boy is the smartest artist of our generation,” Drizzy said in an interview last summer, “I think period and I think out of anybody. Whoever it is, whether it’s him or his team or the people around him, whoever has the thoughts to do the things he does, is genius and I’m so happy for him.”
JBar, long-time associate of rapper Soulja Boy and his SODMG group recently sat down to talk about the picture that shows Soulja Boy Tell Em wearing fellow rapper’s Yung Berg’s “Transformers” chain. Saying he will give the real story, JBar says that Soulja Boy and his grew did not rob or steal the chain from Yung Berg like many rumors had stated.
“We ain’t got no problems with Yung Berg,” Bar said. “We had got the chain up off of somebody else who had the chain. So we were just holding that sh*t. We just got it from somebody who had it so we were like, ‘Ah sh*t!,’ we didn’t want that sh*t floating around no more so we just holding on to it until he trying to get it back. Yeah [I know what it looks like,] I know people looked at it the wrong way but people were probably thinking ‘They weren’t thinking when posting them pictures’ but it wasn’t nothing like that though. We ain’t robbed that dude or nothing. Right, no beef no beef.”
