DEATH PENALTY OFF THE TABLE IN LIL BOOSIE TRIAL

Rapper Lil Boosie is still imprisoned because of a first-degree murder charge in which he claims he’s innocent. And if there is any good news that can be taken from the Louisiana native’s situation, it’s that prosecutors are no longer seeking the death penalty. Previously, Boosie would have faced death if he was convicted.

It’s now said that Lil Boosie will also face an anonymous jury during his trial which is set to begin on April 30th. District Attorney Hillar Moore III feels that this will be more beneficial for everyone deeply involved in this case.

“It’s just something we thought would be better for the case and the jurors”, said Moore.

Lil Boosie still faces life in prison if convicted of his charges.
